I started my teaching career in 2006 and have served many roles over the years.  I began my teaching career teaching elementary school in the Dominican Republic before making a switch to teaching middle school and high school Science.  In 2011, I moved back to Alabama and since then I have taught middle school English, high school Spanish, and served as the English as a Second Language Coordinator. I am excited to become a part of Banks School as a 2nd grade teacher! 

EDUCATION:

I attended Mississippi State University from 2001-2006 and received my B.S. degree in Elementary Education K-8 and a B.A. in Spanish.  

In 2017, I went back to school and completed my Masters in Instructional Leadership at the University of West Alabama.
